To celebrate Halloween in 2023, we called on artists to submit one or more tracks for Ghost Story: A Musical Collection of Stories from Beyond the Grave, the first compilation from the Shadow Tears netlabel. The result was very rewarding and you can check out the work of artists with several different influences within the theme and musical styles proposed by this netlabel that has been featured on Bandcamp. A Ghost Story is any piece of fiction that presents or takes as its premise the possibility of ghosts or the belief in them. It can refer to any type of scary story, being supernatural and strange fiction and often a horror story that although intended to scare has other purposes, from comedy to morality tales. Belief in ghosts is found in all cultures around the world. In this special collection, we tell ghost stories through beautiful pieces of music. Enjoy the shadows!
